0 Diminishing sun, haiku poem

Diminishing sun
turns the sky in shades of blush
clinging not to go

To not give way to
Night’s darkness and foreign stars
and nightmares uncaged

to wander our rooms
hide in the corners of our
eyes and in our minds

daylight has gone to
another lover in awe
of color and hue
