0 A Single Life...: Free Verse

Waking nightmares
singing lullaby's
inside of my head

A demented, Gothic opera
Broadway renditions
propagates death

Quantum variations of sadness
Spotlight from starlight upon the stage
Opening for the tango of his soliloquy

Fragmented perceptions
Heart-beats like violin strings
To the tragic vocals of...

A single life

0 My Faith Is: Acrostic poem

Falling
Apart
In
Tangents and
Heartbreaks

0 Daydreams

My daydreams have a mind of their own
A life of their own
And I'm just another character
From another world
Trying to find my home

And I switch between
Nightmares and sweets
Just like night and day
And you may wonder why my heart beats
It's just its way

And even though this world adheres
To some degree of my design
You may find it weird
That it's hard to find a place to define
As mine

0 Depressed World

How it must feel to be homeless, all alone on the streets of this world
I ponder this quite often, wondering where I would go if I had no where else to go
Dropping through the cracks of our society into the dark subtext of this world’s heart

How would I ever crawl out of such a grimy, jagged crevice back into what I would call life
Protecting myself from the blackened hearts of our populous
Where would I get hope from when the truth is so horrible and lies seems so beautiful

Would I steal for food when I’m starving for strength
Would I kill for security, just to be safe and not for another night weep
I wish not to think about how dark the darkness would grow that’s already inside of me

And through my thoughts I find that this world doesn’t resemble me
Doesn’t value the same moral fiber as I do, doesn’t share the same deduction as I do
And I search for why I am here, why I can’t seem to survive in this alien world

“God why am I even alive in a world that I’m so different from that I can’t survive”

0 Death Stealer by Ariabelle Sierra

riding away with death
on a dark and enchanting horse

Hair gleaming in the milky moonlight
your face shadows all your fears

wondering why your letting death
take you away from your security place

What made you change your mind?
what made you want death instead of life?

DId you think being the princess of death
would change everything for you?

Or did you think you would have some
exciting fun
instead of a boring old safety net?

you hunger for death
that you dilluted yourself

thinking that youll be dancing
at masquerade balls

that this is your chance to be a princess
and get whatever you want
within your little grubby grasp

while hes wisking you away
on a dark magnificant beast

drifting away from the place you knew
and replacing it with his allure of magic

Showing you bedazzling lies
that he says will be yours
when you enter the underworld

while in his mind
hes laughing horriblely
knowing that he has captured a butterfly
in a web

one that cant be free
from the  fate they put themselves in

wondering if this nightmare
will ever go away

or if this is true
he will  torture their souls forever

0 The Closet Stairway

In the darkness I sit alone upon my bed staring into the closet

Where shadows are chanting in ritual with words I can not hear

And the fabric of reality started to assemble a staircase of petrified wood

I walked over in wonder to ponder what was down it's seemingly infinite steps

Peering down the deep abyss with orange glowing walls of rock

And I decided to venture down into the cavern I found myself within

Strange creatures climbed up the rock faces

They hung like bats from the stalactites

Usual sounds beat through the air like music

And I was compelled to go further down into it's depth

Towards the end, I saw a young beautiful woman entering a chasm of hallways and rooms

Like a dollhouse, stretching infinitely up and down the rock face

I could see into each lit room and hallway all of the residents that lived there

And I was amazed in wonder of at my upcoming adventure through this unknown world
